Dr. Barsten, DC is not an HMO member, so these will not cover our services. We are not able to provide services within the Medicare or Medicaid contract. </p> <p> Note that we do not bill any insurance. This allows our clinic to keep costs as low as possible and focus our time and energy more efficiently on research, evaluation and clinical skills, not administrative paperwork. We often don’t suggest x-rays, but if needed, we will write a prescription to have them performed at any variety of locations throughout the bay area, such as Valley Radiologists, etc. These can usually be taken the same day, and if necessary, brought to the office for review. Follow-up visits up to 30 minutes are $195, appointments of 30-45 minutes are $295, and 45-60 minutes are $395. Quick-check visits (up to 15 minutes) are $95. Outside lab fees are performed with no added mark-up (common in many doctors offices). </p> <p> Phone and SKYPE consultations are the same rate as above.
