Why The Nose?
The nasal cavity is rich in capillaries and very close to the brain. In fact, there are more capillaries per cm2 than most organs of the body. The abundant blood supply and thin nasal membrane make it a perfect area for laser energy delivery to the blood and body cells.
What exactly is the nasal laser?
This device utilizes a low-level (or “cold”) laser diode to release coherent light in the visible red spectrum (655 nm), powered by a calculated dosage of energy to irradiate the capillary-rich nasal cavity. It emits low-level laser light with a 655 nm wavelength. The light pulses continuously with a power density of 5 mw/cm2.
The device was derived from researching clinical studies on low-level light therapy over the last few decades. Most of the 170+ clinical studies on photobiomodulation (or low level light therapy) over the decades were based on low level (or “cold”) laser of similar parameters. As a safety measure, users should not look directly into the light source.
What can it do for me?
Numerous studies show positive effects of laser therapy including:
In the clinic, we recommend this device to enhance all treatment outcomes, speed recovery of injuries, improve energy levels, support immunity, and facilitate brain functions.
A major benefit of this device, besides the affordable price, includes the ability to wear or use almost anywhere at any time. The device uses solid-state technology with an intranasal diode built from high impact polycarbonate, turning this into a lifetime investment.
